CONFITURES CROPSAL
You've probably heard of them, and since 1986 they've been the official jam of the Elysée Palace! For almost 40 years, Cropsal has been the benchmark for these little delicacies made from fruit. Here, the fruit is scrupulously selected and the best on the market is used: wild blueberries, Catalan apricots, figs from Provence, mirabelles from Lorraine, Roussanne peaches... and if you have to go all over the world to find them, no problem: only quality counts! But the culinary art is very much Béarnais, and the know-how is worthy of ancestral traditions. Fruits are candied in cauldrons as they were in the past, but the blends are very contemporary: strawberries with Madiran, peaches with Jurançon, figs-citrus-nut flakes-spice bread, apples-caramel-salted butter... The creations are subtle and tasty, even original, like those with Yunnan Osmanthus flower petals or Espelette pepper! A range of fruit jellies and pastes is offered in the same spirit, and we love the Pyrenean honeys that complete the offer of the brand, certified organic in 2017.
