PÂTISSERIE ARTIGARRÈDE
The specialty of this Béarn establishment is the famous Russe! This almond paste cookie, filled with praline cream and a secret ingredient handed down from generation to generation, is a jewel in the crown of local gastronomy. A family recipe dating back to the 19th century, its name derives from ingredients imported from the Crimea. In 1925, Adrien Artigarrède added his personal touch and opened his 1st store, meeting with dazzling success. Today, his great-grandson continues this tradition. The Oloron boutique also sells Rosquille and Muscadine.
