BOULANGERIE JAUBERT
They are called "paillasse", "twelve cereals", "müesli", "omega", "sesamine", "pure sourdough" or even "apple bread", "spelt flour", "rye flour" or "wheat flour"... For more than forty years, this bakery, an authentic institution in Pau, has been offering a wide range of different breads, made by hand. Here, regional specialities are resurrected, with ranges that change regularly, especially according to the seasons. And for those with a sweet tooth, try the chocolates, made in the workshop, or the long-standing pastries of the Maison Jaubert, such as the "pom d'or" (almond biscuit, caramelised apples, crunchy speculoos, Bavarian vanilla) or the "caramelo" (caramel mousse, vanilla mascarpone ganache, crunchy praline, dacquoise). This bakery also has a catering area, which is very popular with dishes prepared in front of the customer, since summer 2018. Local products are also present in the shop as well as a rotisserie on weekends and holidays.
