Chez Kako: a stopover at the superb, lively pewter bar. A must at aperitif time, with regulars who know how to appreciate, over a glass, rations that are well worth the detour. In a setting of rare beauty - a string of exceptional paintings, a reflection of the Basque country, a few posters on the region's king sport, pelota. An atmosphere, a setting, a typical local cuisine. Gambas in yellow curry sauce, snacked calf's head, homemade crème brûlée with orange and Grand Marnier.

Très bon restaurant basque tout pres des Halles de st Jean. Cuisine traditionnelle avec un très bon axoa de veau. Goûter aussi les chipirons à la plancha et les piquillos. Belle ambiance intérieure et donc vaut mieux réserver si on veut assurer.
