The Gastellou house is a must in the Basque Country. This institution of butchery and delicatessen is present, except in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (2 shops), Espelette, Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Hendaye. For several generations, at the Poutzia farm located in Saint-Jean-le-Vieux, the Gastellou family has been raising, preparing, cooking and packaging all its production according to the rules of art, while respecting tradition. The "Gastellou" spirit can be found in the butcher's shop and delicatessen. Blonde d'Aquitaine, Bayonne and Garazi dry cured hams, Basque sausages, chorizos, ventrèches, rillettes, pâtés and Basque puddings but also many dishes cooked in jars, not forgetting the unmissable Ossau-Iraty cheeses from local producers. And the simply exceptional Basque cream and whole cherry cakes, simply exceptional, home-made in the line of the products mentioned above. All these products can also be found in the shops of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Espelette and Biarritz. Know-how has no borders.
