Un superbe accueil de la part des hôtes dans un cadre magnifique bien au calme entouré d'un grand parc arboré.
Une vaste chambre très bien décorée et confortable.
Un petit déjeuner très copieux
Une adresse à retenir

Stunning property doesn't disappoint as you drive through the gates up the drive. Christian is super helpful such as helping me store and set up power for my E-bikes. The property is very comfortable and well equipped and the decor is honest to the Chateau's character and charm. The beds are all comfortable and the showers work well. The descriptions are accurate re pool, kitchen, seating areas and it was a joy listening to the owls in the evening. Would recommend for a large group.

We had a wonderful, multi-generational family holiday at Chateau Picol. The setting of the chateau is lovely and we particularly enjoyed the heated pool. The grandchildren loved it and spent most of their time in it. Thank you to Christian and Alla

We had a wonderful time at Chateau Picol with all our children and grandchildren. A really beautiful and peaceful place. The house was superbly equipped with everything we needed. Christian and Alla were perfect hosts; discreet but always readily available to help with anything. A lovely welcome basket of goodies when we arrived.
The pool area was perfect; beautifully cleaned by Christian every morning and the grass surrounding it was perfect for the children to play safely. We spent many happy hours in and around the pool.
We loved our bike rides to get bread and pastries in the mornings and there are plenty of lovely places to visit within an hour of Chateau Picol. A lovely holiday. Lovely hosts

We have just returned to the UK after a fabulous week at Chateau Picol with our family, to celebrate my 70th birthday. Plenty of space for 3 families with 3 boisterous little boys.
We could not have wished for more. It was a wonderful experience to have the family living in the Chateau with ample bedrooms and bathrooms for all.
The chateau which is owned and lovingly looked after by Christian and Alla. They could not do enough to make sure our visit was memorable. Always discreet and always available if needed.
We were greeted on arrival by Christian and Alla and given a hamper of local specialities. The chateau is beautifully decorated and adorned with antiques of the era. The kitchen is so well stocked, you can cook most things with a separate outside BBQ and terrace.
The pool and veranda are probably one of the most delightful features having private use of this facility is a joy. It is cleaned daily by Christian and heated to keep it suitable for the little ones.
We had booked a private chef (through Christian) for my birthday dinner and due to unforeseen circumstances, he was not available.
So, in stepped Christian and Alla to cook an amazing five course banquet meal of special dishes which you would not find in any restaurant in France or the UK. They delivered and served the food as well. An amazing effort by them and a triumph all round. A night to remember.
We purchased wines from Domaine de Villemont, Mirebeau, just a few miles away and worth a visit.
We ate lunch at Restaurant du Champ de Foire in Lencloitre. Amazing food and great value for money.
A daily trip to the bakery for the chocolate croissants and bread is a must.
We wish Chrisitan and Alla great success with the Chateau and we can highly recommend you stay here.

We have just returned from Château Paquerette after a wonderful family holiday with seven adults and five children. On arrival at this historical Château we were greeted by the owners who showed us around their magnificent Château with its beautiful antique furniture. They had provided a Welcome Pack of local food delicacies and essentials. The rooms were generous in size and decorated in keeping with the period. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and provided everything you may need. The rear terrace sited a larger table where we could all dine together and also barbecue. The heated pool was a great success especially with the children. The extensive wooded grounds were perfect for exploring and playing games. The hosts were wonderful, discreet but there if assistance required, as proved when one of our party needed to visit a Doctor. A tranquil place to unwind.

It's a 200 Year Old Chateau in a Remote Location steeped in history and with a beauty and magnificence that simply cannot be easily put into words.

The Chateau was recently purchased by Christian and Alla as a going concern holiday rental business, they are the perfect guardians for such a historic property and they were extremely attentive whilst we stayed in the property, they kept a discrete distance but were always on hand for any assistance needed. As hosts you would not find any better, they are friendly, professional and welcoming.

The property itself is set in mature grounds that are extremely well kept, trees (some are 200 years old) surround the grounds on all sides making it private and secluded. The local village of Lencloitre is just a few moments drive away with a small supermarket, bar, pharmacist, restaurant and the all important boulangerie.

The interior of the property is equally as magnificent as the exterior, good size rooms decorated in an appropriate fashion to the age and feel of the property. The kitchen is a good size and everything you need is already there ready to be used if needed.

We spent the mornings and evenings sitting on the terrace overlooking the pool, the days we spent around or in the pool. We did explore the grounds and played hide and seek with the grandchildren as well as a few activates like football, frisbee whilst the wildlife buzzed around the grounds, simply incredible.

I couldn't recommend the property highly enough, I simply don't have the eloquence of vocabulary required to do it justice nor can I express just how friendly, professional and welcoming the hosts are, if you get the opportunity then it will be time well spent.

Beautiful chateau. Comfortable, well-equipped, fantastic grounds and swimming pool. Really lovely area, with a Saturday market showcasing local produce. Generous, helpful and welcoming hosts.
We stayed for 2 weeks and found the chateau perfect for entertaining family and friends, as well as for relaxing in the sunshine.
Could not recommend more highly.

Rented this amazing location for 10 people - 4 couples and one Mother/Daughter for a week in October 2022. Christian and Alla were amazing leading up to our visit with suggestions on the area, and how to plan our day trips. We arrived in the afternoon - after our group stopping for some supermarket items (recommend Intermarche or LeClerc) and were greeted by Christian and Alla for a tour and instructions on the chateau and properties. We were in awe of the parlor room - perfect for us to watch movies, play games or just relax with our beverages. The dining table sat our 10 easily and the modern kitchen has ALL the amenities - pots and pans, dishes, ovens, great refrigerator with an ice machine and filtered water. The rooms are up a staircase -so plan for large luggage or those that need extra time up stairs. Water pressure in our room was excellent and never had any issues with the facility. Pool was closed in October, but looks so inviting. Our room was great -third floor (25 steps to first floor, another 19 to the third) with a view of the property. Christian and Alla are able to help with dinners, reservations and all suggestions. It was a magical stay for all of us! Recommend dinners at the chateau -they can plan or bring your meals, have a large passenger van and thrilled to share their extremely beautiful chateau. It is surrounded by farms - quiet, private and perfect. The ultimate CHILL
