ST. NICHOLAS OF MYRE CHURCH
Saint-Nicolas-de-Myre is a Catholic church in Jausiers. It is Baroque in style, but with a less theatrical influence than the Baroque churches of Italy, Austria and Spain. The church was built around 1670 and is considered the largest Baroque church in the Durance region. Dedicated to St. Nicholas of Myra, it was consecrated in 1686. The church has been listed as a historic monument since 1921. It is owned by the commune of Jausiers.
