Spring has arrived on the Coast and if you've been neglecting your favourite gym during the winter, it's time to get yourself beautiful and prepare your body for the tough law of the bikini on the Croisette! The festival is fast approaching, it's far too late to carve out a star figure? Make a stop at the spa and pamper yourself for a few hours in this beauty case located in the heart of the film city.
The Marilyn spa opened its doors a few months ago under the leadership of Serge Lazzari, the owner of the Cannes Riviera Hotel. Good news, it's not reserved exclusively for hotel guests. It is a temple of beauty and well-being where two prestigious brands share the limelight: Decléor and Carita

Décleor is renowned for its aromatic rituals with facials accompanied by back modelling. We also love massages and aromas that release tension to bring your body and mind back into harmony.
Carita is an almost mythical brand, a unique method created by the Carita sisters. We know her for hair care, but she's just as great for body and face care
My choice finally went to Carita. The charming Jennifer, the spa manager, recommended the "mythical moisturizing treatment of the Lagoons"... Already the name is evocative, it makes you travel!
Let's go for 1 hour of absolute relaxation with the promise of regaining a reinvigorated and smoothed skin.
The therapist explains to me beforehand the unique method for which Carita is famous:
1. Step 1 - Prepare
2. Step 2 - Activate
3. Step 3- Reveal
4. Step 4- Sublimate
The cabin is cosy, the light is subdued... The treatment begins with the Renovator, a concentrate of natural plants and essential oils that allows to obtain a perfectly cleansed skin
Then she applies a serum by modelling the face with "fluid 14": this is the Activation phase; the imbalances of the skin are corrected to revive the beauty capital ... The massage is tonic and relaxing at the same time.
The pause of the mask for the "moisturizing bath" restores the radiance and softness of the skin: this is the revelation stage!
Finally comes the final touch where we sublimate the texture of the skin..
Is it over already? I'd like it to go on for another 1000 hours! But since all good things must come to an end, I promise myself I'll be back as soon as possible. Next time I program myself a body massage of at least 1H30!
