Charming address offering a cuisine with Provencal flavors.
This charming hotel pays tribute to olive oil. Behind the wooden semi circular counter and ancient oil cans with black chalked names on blackboards, the kitchen area opens onto the room. Seated on wooden tables, you can enjoy homemade Provence flavours that vary according to the fresh products of the season. The vegetables from small producers are often collected on the privileged hills of Bellet and their quality reveals almost flavours sometimes forgotten. Raviolis from Nice, Oliviera aubergine (lemon and goat cheese), Tagliatelle verde al pesto, stuffed courgette flowers, Mediterranean tartar, tiramisu dessert... All dishes including sweet ones are accompanied by the tasting of olive oil whose secrets is passionately given to us! Twenty varieties are offered for sale including many AOC. They found here a place and people who unveil them better than anywhere else and who delight lovers of authentic flavours.

If you are expecting fast service do not come here (as far as I can see there are only two people working the entire restaurant which is busy.
If you are expecting an extensive carte or wine list do not come here.
However I do strongly recommend this place, because,
* The food is some of the best I have ever eaten.
* Friendly ambiance.
* The owner and the lady in the kitchen were both excellent and genuinely welcoming.
* The place is also an olive oil shop and there were plenty of free tastings which seem to come as part of the service.
* The "slow" service is actually an advantage on a hot afternoon in Nice.
* The overall value was excellent .
Overall a wonderful place .
Un plaisir gustatif.
