L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE
L'Occitane is at home here! The Aix boutique is decked out in the house colors of sunshine yellow and wood brown. Country chic atmosphere. Wood and wrought iron for the decor, terracotta tiles on the floor. Here, Mediterranean plants are at the service of beauty. Olive oil, almond, verbena and lavender: ingredients with a southern accent! The shelves are neat and tidy, and the retro product packaging, in imitation aluminum and glass, is a success. One of the flagship products is shea butter, with a particularly pleasant hand cream. Oliver Baussan, founder of L'Occitane en Provence, discovered the product in Burkina Faso in the 1950s. We love the honey-lemon massage oil and the fresh verbena eau de toilette. Hats off to the Fleur d'or et acacia line, but the brand's finest flower remains Bellis perennis, used in the L'immortelle range of products. A flower of light with an anti-aging secret. We love the pretty limited edition boxes, like the lavender relaxation box.
