ATELIER SIMONE
Artisan of art, Lætitia Costechareyre has a passion for blue. Her job as an indigo maker has filled her with joy since she turned professional, when she left a beautiful ready-to-wear shop to set up her workshop in a small street in Aix-en-Provence. There she works with indigo, a plant native to India whose palette is infinite, and dyes fabrics, clothes, tablecloths and hangings. Only natural materials - linen, hemp, cotton, silk - as well as the 100% natural pigments she uses. Her creations are distributed in a few shops in the region (la Maison Marseillaise, l'Idéale in Marseille). You can even bring her antique sheets, tablecloths and tea towels made of thread, dresses found in your grandmothers' trunks, or even a white t-shirt that is whiter after several washes. Lætitia ennobles fabrics and gives a second life to this textile heritage to which we often remain attached.
