LES PARIS D’HÉLÈNE
It is the oldest art gallery in Aix. Opened in 1964 by Hélène Caral of Montety, the gallery kept its name after the founder's disappearance. Since 2000, Michèle Nationalizes-Caral, his adopted daughter, who seconda her from the beginning, continues the adventure with the same rigour (his expertise makes reference) and this little piece of madness necessary to the great works. In his den, there are unusual objects and special collections, historical memories, such as Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, table art, goldsmith, decorative objects, antique jewellery, showcase collections… Here reign the th century, but amateurs will also find their happiness in the th and early th centuries. Among the collections: required sewing, fans, precious boxes, tabatières, sculptures made of bronze, terracotta or earthenware… camay, jewel of the 1930 s or vial with perfume. And if you're curious, Michèle, as a true historian, will delight you. She worked for the promotion of the work Vincent Roux (1928-1991), a painter from Peynier who shared his time between Saint-Tropez, Aix-en-Provence, Venice and Paris.
