Upscale restaurant offering a local menu in the Jas de Bouffan district of Aix-en-Provence.
Jas de Bouffan has a nice restaurant and rather upscale with this "other" restaurant that plays the map of the land. Here, we are cooking olive oil and we claim it! So much better. There is also a list of producers: olive oil comes from Eguilles, the vegetables of the Bernard des Arnavaux family, the Foie gras and the duck of the Chefs'market in Aix, etc. Lôtre Restaurant offers four main rooms and its terrace (450 seats possible!). But a terrace with gardens, verandas, a fountain or a tree, is always an intimate area. Real olive trees and real boxes participate in the decoration. The decoration is in good taste, fashionable just as it needs and gives nothing to comfort or good taste. So the decor is going! And on the plate, it is not bad either… The shades to the olive (Under the olive tree) are divine, the truffle menu also. More affordable, the Aromatique or Potager menus are perfect. Not to mention the menu of the day at noon, in week, completely correct. Here you can work with the steaks, chicken or tuna with the Provençal touch, not forgetting vegetables or fine herbs. An excellent address. However, at midday some days, it's a bit of the race. But the service is still pleasant. In the evening it is more intimate and more gastronomic.

Et la nourriture on y mange toujours bien, assiettes bien présentés. Petit bémol pour le dessert que nous avions pris la coupe de glaces bretonne qui était sans grand intérêt, le palet breton même industriel dans la coupe. On aurai dû s arrêter avant le dessert pour le coup
