Traditional Ethiopian cuisine in a friendly and ethnic restaurant in Aix-en-Provence.
For those who like to discover other cultures, this small, discreet restaurant offers all-Ethiopian cuisine. Only traditional dishes like dorowot, chicken simmered for six hours. But also meat and vegetable dishes that can be shared and eaten with the fingers, dipping in the traditional Injera (a kind of wafer made from teff flour, a plant found only in Ethiopia). The decor is sober, friendly and one hundred percent ethnic, with objects brought in by the warm-hearted Ama. Desserts are homemade. Don't miss Tej, the country's cult drink made from fermented honey.
