In the heart of the city, the Maharaja offers itself a place of king. The frontage suggests a culinary journey to the borders of India and Pakistan. The interior, very Bollywood-like, immediately transports us into the atmosphere. On the plate, the flavours blend together and make each bite a spicy fusion. Everything is offered at affordable prices. From Murge madras (chicken with curry and chillies) to tandoori prawns, through vegetarian dishes (various vegetables with curry or rice simmered with vegetables), you will appreciate the diversity of Indian cuisine. All this is accompanied by Naans, these breads to be dipped in traditional sauces, mint, spicy or sweet.

Ça faisait longtemps qu'on n'y était pas allés et franchement rien n'a changé : le cadre est toujours aussi agréable (la déco est vraiment magnifique), les serveurs toujours aussi peu souriants. La cuisine aussi n'a pas beaucoup changé : c'est plutôt bon, très correct pour le prix (entrée plat dessert le soir pour 20 euros, c'est pas courant) mais ça manque de peps, de saveurs vraiment marquées; souvent c'est piquant mais sans goût, c'est dommage. Après, faut reconnaître que le rapport qualité/quantité/prix est très correct : que ce soit le thali viandes, les menus proposés, c'est toujours servi avec générosité; essayez les samoussas ou le poulet tandoori en entrée, ils valent le coup, et le poulet massala en plat principal, vraiment pas mauvais. Un chouette endroit dans l'ensemble.
