Thai specialities to be tasted in a restaurant with terrace
For a quarter of a century, Tây-Lai has been offering authentic and tasty Vietnamese cuisine, using fresh products, coriander, mint, lemongrass and subtle spices. Traditional dishes from different regions of South Vietnam are offered in their gastronomic version. The owner and founder - René Audibert - is a Franco-Vietnamese. He fled to France in 1975 after the fall of Saigon and opened this restaurant in 1986. Tay (French) and Lai (mixture) refers to the crossbreeding and Eurasia. One sits in the vaulted room or on the terrace along the pedestrian street. The spring rolls are excellent, the steamed specialties and the fried noodles too... Special mention for the Vietnamese pancake, but also for the crispy peking pork and the Tonkinoise Pho Tai soup that is prepared in front of you by adding crunchy bean sprouts, lemon juice and chilli to the broth. An address that we recommend.

(Malgré le nom, ce n’est plus du tout le même restaurant que celui de feu René)
