homemade cuisine based on fresh produce in a tapas bistro in Aachen
La Cita is a well-known and popular address. Cita, in Spanish, means "rendezvous". La Cita in Aix is a tapas bistro just the way you like it. Bodega atmosphere, music, homemade sangria, great tapas... Whether you come in small groups to sit at the zinc or in larger numbers to form a large table, you'll appreciate the conviviality of the place. At the end of the evening, the tables come together. The menu is concocted according to mood. While Aurélien works behind the stove, in full view of everyone, Mimie takes the orders: calamares fritos, escalibama de la casa (marinated grilled vegetables), pan queso iberico, supions a la plancha... The cuisine is authentic, just like at home. Everything is made with fresh produce, depending on the market, and direct imports whenever possible. As for Tata Chantal, who's never far away, she'll make you caramel tiramisu, raspberry soup, Carambar cream... Yummy! A fiesta atmosphere on Thursday evenings with the piano bar, and on other evenings too!
