Quality cuisine with grandmother's recipes and typical Provencal dishes in a restaurant with terrace in Aix-en-Provence.
Nathalie has been settled as a restorer since 2007 in the old tripe shop of his grandmother Angelina, and she has retained his gandmother's first name for the shop, at the very beginning of the pretty rue Mérindol or at the bottom of place Forum des Cardeurs (everything depends on the place of arrival), on the plot where a fountain flows. On the cuisine side, simplicity and quality are the chef keywords, and we love his grandmother's recipes like the beef tongue with honey sauce! On the menu, permanently, delicious dishes like these vegetable lasagna with tapenade, pesto or fresh salmon. But also typical Provencal dishes such as Provencal daube, sheep's feet and stuffed tripe, elaborated as the Marseille cooking, headless larks meat, small stuffing or Provencal aïoli once a week. As far as wine is considered, the most important list includes the coteaux-d'aix and of course the côtes-du-rhône wines At Angelina's restaurant, it smells the South area and especially as soon as the morning come, when we are on the terrace in a quiet relaxation. And in 2018, there can be a big surprise for those who frequent this restaurant. Nathalie bought the building next door and will greatly expand the size of the room. At the time of printing, she had not yet chosen his colors but we look forward to seeing the result. We know his taste for beautiful things.
