Restaurant with bay window on a terrace offering seafood dishes in Aix-en-Provence.

The first Toinou shop was in 1962 a simple shellfish stall on the Cours Louis in Marseille. In 1975 the tasting point opened next to the stall. Toinou has become an institution; the people of Aix did not hesitate to drive there until 2011, when Toinou moved to the Trois Sautets district in Aix. Large bay window, very efficient service and warm atmosphere with the best of the sea on the plate: grilled fish, poached fish, raw fish, shellfish and crustaceans. Don't forget to book!

C'était l'adresse incontournable de Marseille pour les fruits de mer maintenant présente à Aix-en-Provence. Le choix est impressionnant, depuis les huîtres de plusieurs origines, les oursins, jusqu'aux violets. On peut aussi acheter un plateau à emporter. Bien sûr ce n'est pas donné mais la qualité et la fraîcheur sont garanties.

Nous souhaitions manger des fruits de mer et nous avons été comblé.
Nous nous sommes régalés. Certes un peu cher, mais la qualité se paie.

EXCELLENT RESTAURANT DE FRUIT DE MER, ambiance sympathique et concept original puisque chacun choisi ses fruits de mer pour composer son assiette. Produite frais de très bonne qualité.

Since chandeliers, we attend Toinou restaurant. For a long time it was in Marseille, but since the opening of the restaurant of Aix en Provence, I prefer to move around. Question preferably in terms of service. That to say than from so many years, not only once I was not disappointed. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are always with the Appointment. The choice is the largest of the region. (As a great lover of shellfish and crustaceans, I all tried them) I can only recommend Maison Toinou!!! Especially that for some time, you can book.
