Bistro offering French cuisine based on Provencal products.
A charming bistro with exposed stone walls, zinc furniture (hence the name) and an imposing fireplace. A refined menu that changes regularly and allows you to rediscover the classics of French gastronomy. This is what has ensured the success of this restaurant, run by Christophe Formeau, since it opened. The chef offers a cuisine concocted from Provençal products and subtle exotic flavors with which he became familiar during a trip to Costa Rica. Escargots à la bordelaise, homemade foie gras duo with half fig confit in red wine, tangy onion crumble and scoop of chestnut ice cream, zinc salad (soft-boiled egg, honey chicken, Roquefort, avocado, bacon, smoked duck breast, tomato). Main courses include sweetbreads with morel mushrooms, braised beef chuck confit for 7 hours with vegetables, turbot fillet with ginger, potato pressée with olive oil and chives, and glazed carrots. Large selection of wood-fired grilled meats. All meats are accompanied by Provençal-style tomatoes and potatoes with tarragon cream. In the basement, a wine cellar awaits you. Warm and friendly, come and share the love of this precious nectar. It's worth noting that small regional producers have pride of place alongside the grands crus. Bonus: an exhibition of Aix-en-Provence painters hangs on the walls.

Cuisinier arrogant et a limite du respect
A éviter
Serving time way too long.
It's hard to find a parking around.
But staff is nice and friendly.
