Gourmet and refined Provencal cuisine in a gourmet restaurant with terrace in Aix-en-Provence.
Welcome to the Table du Roi restaurant at the Grand Hôtel du Roi René. A charming and luxurious stopover in the city center, the MGallery-standard Grand Hôtel Roi René, whose origins date back to 1929, underwent a complete renovation in 2009. Its gourmet restaurant lives up to its reputation. La Table du Roi offers refined, gourmet Provencal cuisine orchestrated with brio. The decor is trendy, the welcome impeccable and every detail of the mise en place meticulous. On the menu that day, divine scallops with an Asian flavour. The menu features a selection of seafood dishes, such as pavé de maigre au beurre d'agrumes, while the butcher's selection includes a delicate millefeuille of beef fillet with Bandol wine. As for the Roi René sweets, they round off the meal perfectly with this aumônière of chocolate, dried fruit and pistachio ice cream. Finally, a little something extra to round off the meal: Roy René's mini-calisson and Puyricard chocolate, served with coffee. Provencal gastronomy in a setting of luxury, calm and beauty... In fine weather: flower-filled terrace.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
