Traditional homemade cuisine with excellent value for money in Aix.

Chez Charlotte is a great address in Aix! Opened nearly forty years ago, the decor is as good as new, but the atmosphere is relaxed, with the white-tiled kitchen opening onto the dining room. To make the most of fine weather, a patio is available to diners. The restaurant's principle is simple: an inexpensive menu - even in the evenings, which is very welcome in Aix - featuring traditional, home-cooked cuisine. The dishes are simple but good. However, it's best to book at weekends, as the place is very popular.

Chez Charlotte is fabulous. We are spending 2 weeks in France, and Chez Charlotte is definitely out favorite. Laurent is a fabulous chef, and such a nice man. The food is so fresh and exceptional. But what we loved most was the family atmosphere. Please meet Joune, Laurent’s precious terrier, who is the official restaurant mascot. We were so blessed to find this wonderful restaurant ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Très déçu par ce restaurant
qui apparemment est une institution à Aix en Provence la cuisine n'est pas maison comme il se dit et c'est cher pour ce résultat .

Des amis nous on offert cette sortie aux restaurants et c’est une merveilleuse découverte!!! Autant le lieu, la cuisine que le service ! On a passé une excellente soirée! Les entrée était bonne, mention spéciale pour la terrine de foie qui était dingue ! La grillade était parfaitement cuite et la sauce au cèpes était délicieuse. Le poisson du jour avec le pesto maison était succulent. La charlotte aux Framboises vaut le détour!!
Le lieu était tellement beau et chaleureux et les serveuses étaient super gentilles
Bref tous pour passer un très bon moment
