Traditional recipes based on fresh products in Aix
The BE has been on the front page of the new Aix tables since the Nahon brothers took over this institution, which was the headquarters for young students in the 1980s. The ambition is to restore the brewery spirit by working with good products in traditional recipes, egg mimosas, braised beef, homemade entrecote frites, andouillette. This is Maxime's business, who studied at the Bocuse Institute before moving to Ducasse. The menu is short, we go to the essentials or we take the special dish of the day. In the afternoon, we recommend stopping by for chocolate at l´ancienne. In the evening, soundtrack and mixed clientele, for a late drink.

Le plat que j’ai pris était excellent bien que trop d’huile d’olive dans la salade qui était en accompagnement. Je suis arrivé 15 minutes avant un groupe de personnes et les serveurs sont venus prendre notre commande plus tard, j’ai été obligé de me manifester pour commander ; pour le plat et le dessert. Je recommande si vous voulez bien manger mais si c’est pour passer un moment au calme ce n’est pas la meilleure des idées.

Pour un lundi soir, Aix est une ville vraiment agréable. Même restaurant qu'il y a un an : bonne ambiance, staff sympa ????

Ho fatto solo la colazione...tutto buono, il pane, la cioccolata, le petit pain au chocolat, il succo d'arancia, tutto ok...certo che se il vasetto di marmellata fosse poco poco più grande non sarebbe male, altrimenti si finisce per mangiare solo tartine de pain. Comunque colazione decente...personale gentile, educato professionale. L'ambiente molto bello. Un po retro...
