Refined cuisine based on fresh and exceptional products by William Aubert

In the heart of old Aix, this bistronomic restaurant, set in two small adjoining bistro-style rooms, offers a daily selection of wild fish and purebred meats, three starters and as many desserts. Chef William Aubert, who has worked in many fine establishments, offers a highly refined cuisine based on fresh, inspired and elegantly presented ingredients. The menu changes every two weeks, but the classics remain. You can even take a seat in the exceptional cellar put together by sommelier Eric Jaeggy. Everything is cooked to order!

L’une des meilleures tables d’Aix, très bon produits mis en valeur accompagnés de sauces excellentes. La cave est au même niveau, mais laissez Eric vous conseiller pour les vins.

The food was ok and the wine, suggested by the staff was a good match to the main course

Really wanted to like this restaurant, but I don't think the food or wine were up to expectations on the occasion we visited. I asked for a medium-bodied red and was given a bold Bordeaux. Entrees were decent (one was a little undersalted), but mains just lacked polish. The bread did not live up expectations of a true French restaurant. Overall one of the weaker meals we've had in France.

Très bon repas et bel accueil. La cuisine est fine et délicieuse. Je recommande
