SOS LEVRIERS
This is an association - founded in Aix-en-Provence in 2005 - which takes pitié abandoned or abused greyhounds in Spain mainly by hunters. When the greyhound does not reveal a good hunting dog, it is abandoned to a sad fate, ill nourished, abused… Moreover, even when he hunting the greyhound is rarely well treated in Spain. At least that is what this very sharp association reveals. SOS Greyhounds works in collaboration with shelters in Spain. Through its intermediary, dogs are placed in foster families in France - a network of solidarity, friendship and relaying developed throughout France - before being adopted. Note that dogs of this race, easy to educate and affectionate, are well suited to a family life, in the home or in the apartment. However, if you want to adopt a greyhound with this association, you will need to show a white leg.
