Christophe Dejaune has been working as a gallery owner in Aix for more than twenty years; at the beginning he also restored paintings. Today he specializes in sales, purchases and appraisals, and presents mainly Provençal artists or those who worked in Provence in the 19th and 20th centuries. In addition, there is a selection of old and modern paintings and drawings, which you will see on the walls of this beautiful space on rue Jaubert. The Portalis gallery is an extension of this. For the record, it bears the name of a jurist and philosopher considered to be the main writer of the civil code who studied in Aix-en-Provence.
