La Cocina Negra is quite simply the new trendy place for Aix's parties. In a typical setting, somewhere between a 1930s Chicago speakeasy and a Spanish Bodega, cocktails are served, concocted by real mixologists in white shirts and black suspenders. Muffled and lively music under the stone alcoves in the basement, patinated wood, low tables and subdued lights behind sumptuous bottles of spirits... there's magic in the air.
