A place dedicated to dance. Angelin Preljocaj's Ballet, which will celebrate 40 years of contemporary dance creation in 2025, moved into Aix's beautiful Pavillon Noir in 2006. This national choreographic center is located in the modern cultural district on the edge of the Allées Provençales. Le Pavillon Noir's programming includes creations by the resident company, as well as creations by other choreographers, some in residence. In 2015, Le Pavillon Noir benefited from an extension to its premises, designed by Rudy Ricciotti.
