LA COMEDIE D'AIX
Taken over in March 2020 by the family-run 16-19 group (which also owns the Comédie in Marseille and the Comédie du Sud in Plan de Campagne) and reopened in 2022, the theater has undergone a facelift, with 269 comfortable seats. The ambitious program plays the humor card, with audiences flocking to see cult comedies by Feydeau or Jean Jaque(Ne dites pas à ma femme que je suis marseillais) , as well as family shows for children(Héloïse au royaume des bêtises) and, more rarely, early-learning shows for toddlers. The theater also offers courses for adults, and why not rent it out for a private or professional event.
