Discover extraordinary gardens that open their doors to welcome works by contemporary artists.

The flâneries d'art contemporain (contemporary art strolls) are the brainchild of Andréa Ferréol, a fervent admirer of Cézanne and lover of his studio. In collaboration with the tourist office, the idea was born of offering an artistic stroll around Aix; walkers push open the door of an unknown garden or a little-known place and encounter art, whether by discovering a work of art, listening to a musical concert, or taking part in a public reading, a book signing... Over the past 18 years, the event has won over 165,000 strollers and enabled some 225 artists and actors from France and Europe to find their audience. Program on aix-en-oeuvres.com

beau week-end !
Cette édition 2024 des flaneries d'art contemporain a été formidable, comme chaque année d'ailleurs En plus des nombreux artistes présentant leurs oeuvres, nous avons eu droit à une superbe lecture de lettres de Martha Goebbels, lues vec un talent fou par Julie Depardieu , accompagnée de Stephane Druet, impressionnant dans le rôle de Goebbels et dimanche, pour finir en beauté un récital Mozart de l'immense Nathalie Dessay.
Tout cela dans une ambiance bon enfant, sans chichi.
