A festival full of tradition, combining local folklore with centuries-old religion. For gourmets too!
An event animated by the association of Aix and Provence. Here comes the Magi, Balthazar, Melchior and Gaspard with their three camels, their servants and their crates of precious stones and offerings to the child Jesus, followed by all nativity, little angels, craftsmen, gossips and buddies, shepherds and their animals. Part of the Saint-Joseph school (Saint-Louis course), the procession goes to the cathedral Saint-Sauveur. A stop on the square to interpret traditional songs (by the Little Singers of Aix) and it is the religious ceremony of worship of the Magi. A beautiful, popular and family holiday that pays tribute to religious traditions. And the opportunity also to put the galette of kings in his place!
