For 4 days, the festival honors the South and its beauty, and celebrates all the writers who celebrate it.

Inaugurated in 2015, by the Centre des écrivains du Sud on the initiative of Paule Constant, the festival puts the South in the spotlight and values all the writers who celebrate it. Over the course of four days, a host of writers gather at various venues in the city, including the town hall, the Hôtel Maynier d'Oppède and Sciences Po, with the same goal in mind: to mutually enrich the culture of the South and revisit its different accents together. In 2024, the theme is: my life is a novel.
