COUR D'APPEL D'AIX-EN-PROVENCE
Located in the immediate vicinity of the 3 places soon completely renovated, the Cour d 'Appel d' Aix-en-Provence (2 nd Court of Appeal after Paris by the number of cases processed) houses its institutions in two historic buildings: the Verdun Palace (former Parliament of Provence rebuilt in 1832 in a neo-classical architecture) for civil matters, and the Palclar Palace (former prison transformed in 1998) for criminal cases. The Court of Foundation also sits in this palace. There are other judicial sites on the periphery: bd Carnot, Les Milles and Jas de Bouffan (Pratési stalemate). You will find useful practical sheets on the website.
