Renamed "Arts and Crafts Paris Tech" since 2007, the ENSAM has provided many initial and ongoing training. Founded in 1780 by the Duke of La Rochefoucauld Liancourt, it includes 11 teaching centres in France and a total of 6 200 students. Every year, nearly 1 100 engineers are graduating at the end of a cycle of several years. It provides initial training, but also continuous training.
