The town center of social action is a public institution managed by a board of directors chaired by the mayor of Aix. Its role has been major for decades because it is the main actor in the social policy of the commune. Its objectives are to welcome, advise and guide troubled audiences, whether young or older. It proposes, inter alia, support for reintegration through social services, housing accompaniment, and schemes for senior citizens with, for example, a senior information pole. An important set of actions to help the most fragile aixines and aixois.
