From the start, the site displays the "Art Portal 100% Provençal"! The tone is set. Here you can find more than 200 artists from Provence, including painters, sculptors, and photographers. For each artist, there is a piece of work and some links, depending on whether the artists have a website... Unfortunately, the site also presents a section on the great Provençal masters of origin or adoption, such as Cézanne, Matisse, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Signac, and Bonnard, with some reminders of their biographies. Finally, the museums of Aix, Marseille, and Avignon, among other Provençal cities, are mentioned again without direct links. The idea is excellent, but the site deserves to be refreshed and animated. It will allow you to see in a small format the works of current regional artists.
