Founded in 1987, the AELOC, the Association for the Teaching of the Language of the language, brings together teachers from this language who wish to assist in its dissemination, whether occitanistes or mistraliens. The association organizes two university level symposia per year, initiation sessions in the Provençal, created from teaching materials and intervenes in schools and colleges. AELOC expanded its activities through various workshops in Occitan: theatre, tales, animations, songs. The opportunity to keep this regional language alive.
