ASSOCIATION DANTE ALIGHIERI
The association is an offshoot of the venerable eponymous cultural association founded in Rome in 1889, which continues to exist with branches all over the world. In Aix, it is a melting pot for the promotion of Italian language and culture. The Dante Alighieri association organizes trips to Italy, exhibition visits, concert evenings and even scrabble tournaments... in Italian, evidentemente! But the most successful activity is the Italian courses (listening, speaking, reading, writing) given at the Faculty of Economics, 14, avenue Jules-Ferry, every evening of the week (5 levels). Some students prefer the circolo, a conversation circle held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at Ligourès. Members have access to the association's library, where they can consult books on site or borrow them. And if you're a hard worker, we'll teach you how to speak with your hands and cook pasta al dente. And even the sauce to go with it!
