It is the oldest social centre in Aix. It was created by a collective of inhabitants in 1962! The socio-Cultural Centre of the Grande Bastide houses a library, a aéré centre for children aged 3 to 12 and for pre-teens from 12 to 15 years of age. Adults are also being offered a wide range of activities. In the programme: yoga, bocage, African dance, oriental or hip-hop, drawing, gym, babygym, piano, guitar, aid to school… Other cultural associations are welcomed which offer computer courses, rock, salsa, flamenco, choir and singing courses. And throughout the year, at the Grande Bastide, there are meetings and festivities. Playful, sporty, cultural, social and festive. A real neighborhood house!
