The first stone of Aix's Jewish cultural centre was raised, soon forty-five years ago, by Darius Milhaud himself, «a French de Provence de religion de religion», as defined. It is the only Jewish community and community centre in the country of Aix. This program of concerts, films, conferences, organises courses of Hebrew and Yiddish, proposes a community cyber space in free access as well as a library, a welcome for students and a kosher catering. The Centre Darius Milhaud created his TV channel by the Web, produced films and collected the memory of the Jewish community of the country of Aix. Finally, this centre hosts the non-differences Jewish associations of Aix-en-Provence: Friendship Club, WIZO, Bnai Brith, League, Curators of Pope, choir, EEIF… Possibility of lunch on site at restaurant Les Saveurs du Sud, at noon, in week.
