This large and elegant gallery presents the work of Aurélien Raynaud, an artist from Aix who is renowned for his animal sculptures, especially wild animals, of which he is the ardent defender. The setting, like a hymn to nature, is set up as soon as you enter the gallery, under the porch full of greenery. The gallery then opens up like a cabinet of curiosities populated by wild animals. Bears, panthers, lions and snakes are displayed alongside an impressive gorilla and a giant tortoise, both of which are more real than life.
