At the top of Rue du Maréchal-Joffre, Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs des Carmes, Grand Siècle historical monument and property of the town, has been renovated to accommodate an extension of Musée Granet deployed on 700 m². Between 1865 and 1878, the site had already been used as an annex to the museum to receive a large donation. This space, opened in June 2013, is dedicated to the advent of modernity such as Cézanne initiated it and showcases the masterpieces of the 20th century of the remarkable collection disposed at Musée Granet for fifteen years by the Fondation Jean et Suzanne Planque, a collection rich in works by Cézanne, Picasso, Dubuffet or Monnet.
