Acquired at public auction, in 1856, by Mr. G. Rambot this property then named the Beaufort Paddock, was left to the city and left until 1975. The park is then renovated and even enlarged by 3 000 m ² in 1981. This small green park in the city centre makes the children of the area out of school (games and small fountain). Generous lawns and trees in the shade make this green space a pleasant stop from the beautiful days. Parc Rambot is located in the east of the city, facing the School of Arts and Crafts. Access is made by the Arts and Crafts Boulevard or by Sainte-Victoire Avenue. There are free projections called «Summer Time» that allow you to enjoy outdoor theatre sessions on the lawn.
