Walk from Le Tholonet to a magnificent castle in Aix-en-Provence, offering some remarkable views.
Departing from Le Tholonet, this 2-hour walk takes you over mountains, through valleys and over water! Climb, descend, flatten and false-flatten, and appreciate the variety of landscapes all the more: mountain first with Sainte-Victoire, then lake with the Zola dam, built in 1850 by François, the writer's father, followed by dense vegetation and remarkable viewpoints - this is far from a "flat" walk. Ask for the itinerary at the Aix tourist office.
