Buoyed by the success of their mochi workshop, Mathilde and Joris didn't hesitate to open their new store a few steps away, offering an assortment of fine Japanese pastries to eat in or take away: mookies - rice dough cookies in flavors such as chocolate hazelnut or salted butter caramel. We tried their famous yuzu cheesecake, and also a surprising dorayaki, a pancake made with red bean paste. A chic, hushed place with a refined decor that transports you to the Land of the Rising Sun, a zen break when you sit down to sip a traditional matcha tea or a yuzu juice.
