THE ALLAUCH GOAT FARM
Goat farm with around 30 goats and a billy goat in Allauch.
The Nivaggioli family welcomes you in summer to this pretty corner of Provence, in the Peynaou valley. Some thirty goats and a billy goat make up the herd. The production of raw-milk cheeses, around a hundred a day, thanks to the 90 liters of milk collected each day during the two daily milkings, comes from a century-old recipe handed down by old Allaudian shepherds. These cheeses will be sold at local markets. You're welcome to bring the kids along, especially in February, when the kids are just born.
