Georges Testa, a medal-winning master confectioner, carries on the tradition and makes the sweets by hand. In the Eymery family, we make "suce-miel". This is a small ribbon of honey paste stuck between two strips of paper. A delightful gourmet store in the heart of the village of Allauch, where you'll also find chiques, nougat, navettes and casse-dents, as well as calissons.

We stopped with blue Mill for tea, the setting is typical but the room was noisy enough for a tea room. The delicatessen part has however quite a wide choice of regional produce.
