Contemporary bistro dating from the 19th century offering original cuisine with more than tempting dishes.

Restaurant Gaudina is a highly original establishment. Jeanne and Dimitri took over the premises of the oldest butcher's shop in Arles, which dates back to the ^19th century, and turned it into a contemporary bistro, while respecting the spirit of the place, but also a restaurant whose main theme could be none other than meat and charcuterie. In terms of decor, the owners have kept the earthenware, marble and even the hooks used to hang the meat quarters. In the kitchen, the dishes are more than tempting. Enthusiasts are in for a treat.

Petit restaurant à l’accueil chaleureux, plats originaux, produits frais et bons.
La salle est petite, il est conseillé de réserver.

Après avoir réservé une table pour 4 personnes en ligne, j'ai téléphoné au restaurant pour confirmer qu'ils avaient des options végétariennes comme annoncé, et on m'a dit qu'ils l'avaient fait. Cependant, à l'arrivée, il n'y avait clairement pas de choix végétarien et aucune compréhension de ce que cela signifiait. Après discussion, 2 assiettes d'épinards, petits pois et brocoli ont été servies en plat principal ... (ce n'était rien de plus qu'un accompagnement de légumes) - c'était extrêmement décevant et après l'avoir mentionné, ils ont proposé de baisser le prix par plat de 16 € à 14,50 € WOW! En revanche, deux d'entre nous avaient de l'agneau et c'était délicieux. Et la serveuse qui nous a servi était très agréable. Mais ce n'était pas correct et nous ne reviendrons pas, quel dommage!

Je ne regrette pas d'avoir mis les pieds dans ce restaurant qui de prime abord n'attire peut-être pas le chaland. En effet, le personnel est très aimable et la patronne vous donne des informations sur ce que vous mangez: par exemple, la viande provenant d'animaux de la camargue. Mets délicieux. Que dire de plus à part je reviendrais!
