Very welcoming restaurant with terrace offering Provencal cuisine in Arles.

The view from the terrace of the Hostellerie des arènes is magical. Even more so at night, when the monument facing it is illuminated. The restaurant is famous for its Provencal cuisine. Do not hesitate to order the gardianne of bull, it is excellent, faith of aficionados, or the shoulder of lamb confit, roasted with thyme. The amateurs of salads, will be filled with the giant composed salads; as for those which have the heart ocean, they will direct themselves towards the pot of the fisherman. The team is very welcoming, the service friendly and efficient.

Un repas infect.
Je suis tres surprise par l‘ avis du petit fute. Je viens de diner a cette hostellerie et tout etait mauvais. Les salades: trois feuilles de laitue nageant dans l’ huile, une miette de mauvais chevre sur un vieux crouton. Le poisson: une dorade crue que j’ ai du renvoyer et qui est revenue demi-crue 30 mns apres, quand a mon mari il a eu en guise d’ epaule d’ agneau deux trois bouts de viande grasse et deux cuilleres de riz et de ratatouille en boite. Le pain n’ est meme pas frais. Une honte dans un tel cadre et nous avions pris les menus les plus chers. Les photos sur leur site ne correspondent pas du tout aux plats servis. Une enorme arnaque. Dommage pour la charmante serveuse.
