It occupies different places of exhibition in Arles' city centre every year in early May. Created in 2001 by Bruno Rédarès, a self-taught photographer native of the city, Festival Européen de la Photo de Nu has become an unmissable event of the Arles cultural calendar. At the gallery of Espace Van Gogh and Palais de l'Archevêché, during ten days, bodies are revealed through photographs of about twenty artists chosen from all around the world. On the programme, still event, which looks like the only big photographic event in Europe on the theme of naked, and more generally on body, screenings but there are also training courses, from one to three days, in studio condition or outside, in natural landscapes such as Camargue and Alpilles, which attracts tens of amateur photographers looking for advice.
